Curatorial Support
Curatorial Support at Artistry Community provides flexible, project-based guidance for developing exhibition concepts, narratives, and structures for online and hybrid exhibitions.
Curatorial support is led by Artistry Community’s internal expertise and may also involve collaboration with external curators or specialists, depending on the scope and needs of each project. The level and form of curatorial involvement are determined collaboratively and may vary from exhibition to exhibition.
Our approach prioritizes clarity, context, and accessibility, while respecting the intentions of artists and exhibiting teams.
What Curatorial Support May Include
Depending on the goals of the exhibition, curatorial support may include:
- Developing or refining exhibition concepts and themes
Supporting the narrative structure and flow of an exhibition - Assisting with exhibition texts, artist statements, and contextual materials
- Advising on artwork selection and presentation for online or hybrid formats
- Providing guidance on audience-focused interpretation and accessibility
The scope of curatorial support is defined through discussion and aligned with the exhibition’s context, timeline, and objectives.
Scope & Flexibility
Curatorial Support is offered on a project-by-project basis and does not follow a fixed curatorial model.
Some exhibitions may require light curatorial guidance focused on structure and presentation, while others may involve deeper collaboration across concept development and exhibition planning. Decisions regarding curatorial approach, interpretive depth, and language support are made in consultation with the exhibiting party prior to production.
Curatorial support may be provided as a standalone service or in combination with exhibition production.
