My work captures fleeting moments of youth culture, transforming spontaneous “throwaway photos” into dramatic painted canvases. I find power in elevating these casual snapshots through paint strokes, creating a frozen-in-time quality. Recently, my focus has shifted toward exploring performative romance—the intriguing tension of intimate moments deliberately enacted before a camera lens.

When my audience looks at my work, I expect them to connect with a time in their life where they were living out one of the experiences I’ve highlighted…The high contrast, flash photography and bold expressions heighten these moments which enables people to connect with the work on a higher level.
