What I am most interested in are moments in life where we are suddenly aware that we have unconsciously constructed our surroundings. I am fascinated by how our everyday objects, spaces and people are the summation of what our lives are about. I look into my fridge everyday, I chop vegetables, take out the trash, and brush my teeth. These tiny, repetitive moments are what I actually spend my life doing. My work aims to capture their mundanity, beauty and ubiquitousness.

All I want for my audience is for them to relate to my work and understand that this “art” that they go out of their way to look for is in fact abundant in small, everyday moments.
